Threatening the president of the United States is a federal felony under United States Code Title 18, Section 871. It consists of knowingly and willfully mailing or otherwise making "any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict great bodily harm upon the president of the United States". The law also includes presidential candidates, vice presidents, and former presidents. The Secret Service investigates suspected violations of this law and monitors those who have a history of threatening the president, such as the blogger who goes by the online alias "Mystere".
Posting news clips about a President is not a death threat, Dervish. I don't wish harm or death upon anyone. I give spiritual warnings about where one is going if one stays on a certain path.
You, on the other hand, wish harm and possibly death upon those who oppose and stand up to and against evil. You wish harm and death to those who expose the truth about wicked leaders.
