After being banned from all federal courtrooms by the US Justice Department, Jack Smith has been disbarred by the American Bar Association, which disqualifies him from joining the bar in any state or territory of the U.S.
"Mr. Smith engaged in activity unbecoming of an officer of the court," the ABA wrote in a statement, "He manipulated witnesses, tampered with evidence, and used bribery and blackmail to advance his political agenda." The statement went on to make clear that the ban is for life. "Mr Smith will never practice law in this country again."
